Who we are

EVACut is made by the people, for the people. JK, it's conjured by a dude somewhere in California. Questions about your data go to hq@evacutstudio.com.

What this policy covers

This page covers this website and the EVACut email list. A separate privacy note for the EVACut apps is coming before launch.

What we collect when you join the list

Your email address, and your first name if you give it.

Your answers to the sign-up questions: what you shoot, what you edit in, roughly how many shoots a year, and whether you'd like to test the beta.

The campaign tags on the link you used to reach the page (for example utm_source=instagram), so we know which posts bring people in.

Why we collect it

To send you EVACut news and beta invites, and to show examples that match the kind of work you shoot. We send about one email a week at most.

Who handles it

Sign-ups are saved to a Google Form and Google Sheet in our Google account, so Google stores the list for us. We never sell or share your address with anyone else.

Before we send the first email, we'll move the list to an email service and name it here.

This site is hosted on Cloudflare, which processes basic request data (like your IP address) to serve the pages and keep them safe.

The page's fonts load from Google Fonts, so Google receives your IP address when the fonts load.

Cookies

This site doesn't set cookies of its own and doesn't run analytics or ads.

Your choices

To come off the list, or to see, correct or delete what we hold about you, email hq@evacutstudio.com and we'll handle it within 30 days. Once we start sending emails, every one will have an unsubscribe link too.

How long we keep it

We keep your details while you're on the list. If you ask to come off it, we delete them within 30 days.

Changes

If this policy changes, we'll update the date at the top. Big changes go out by email first.
